Nose Surgery Reviews

This is my 2-week review after hump nose surgery~

Because of my hump nose, the middle of my nasal bridge line protruded, and my nasal tip drooped downward, so my side profile did not look pretty and my confidence dropped. That made me decide to get nose surgery! I wanted to improve it into a smooth nasal bridge and a naturally upward line for my drooping nasal tip. While looking into several hospitals and going for consultations, a family member had rhinoplasty at a plastic surgery clinic, and because that family member was highly satisfied and recommended it, I ended up having a consultation there. Unlike other hospitals, they took photos of my nose and, based on those photos, explained the expected surgical process in detail, which I really liked! They kept asking if I had any more questions and explained even the small details thoroughly, so I was able to resolve all my questions before going into surgery. Since my nasal bridge was high because of the hump nose, but my nasal tip had a drooping shape, I was advised to proceed without an implant for the nasal bridge and only shave down the hump, while raising the nasal tip using autologous costal cartilage. After surgery, the swelling was not very severe, I did not bruise much, and I recovered well. I think I was able to recover even better thanks to the follow-up care system, such as swelling laser treatment and IV fluids! Even after surgery, Director Kim Hyun-joo checked my progress every time and managed my care, so I felt even more reassured and satisfied! The hump nose line and drooping nasal tip that I most wanted to improve have improved, so I am completely satisfied :)
