After the splint was removed, the swelling went down really quickly. I hope my nasal bridge doesn’t go down any more, but it probably will, right? Until the removal, I worried a lot and cried because I was scared my nose would get ruined. It’s still early, but since I’m not living under as much stress as before the removal, I feel so much more at ease and psychologically much more comfortable. Still, I’ve seen reviews saying side effects appeared some time after removal, so I’m going to keep watching it. The tingling in my nose comes and goes often. My nose is also hard, but it’s much better than when I had the implant in. What people ask about a lot is the foreign-body sensation and tenderness. It doesn’t keep coming the way it did before removal; maybe it’s a symptom of tissue recovery, but it comes once in a while. Whenever it comes, if I drink some water, it eases up. Why is that...? Maybe it’s because the swelling hasn’t fully gone down yet, or maybe I’m romanticizing it because the foreign-body sensation and tenderness before removal were so hard, or maybe it was actually removed in a state better than my natural nose. I keep thinking, why did I get nose surgery...? The operated nose was definitely higher and more refined, but for my image, I think this nose looks much better. After nose surgery, my nose did get prettier, but my midface looked longer, so I looked slightly older, which bothered me. After removing it, my midface looks much shorter, so I’m really happy!! Everyone who wants removal, of course it’s true that you should study and prepare in advance for possible side effects after removal too, but I hope you don’t get scared by that and give up. People say it’s like a ticking time bomb. It could explode if the bomb is dismantled incorrectly, but I thought that if I kept carrying it around, it would explode someday anyway, so I decided to leave it to chance. But after it was over, I felt like it wasn’t even at the level of a gamble. So I hope you don’t just get scared and run away. Go to lots of consultations!! If you’re curious about anything, leave a comment! For hospital information, please check my day-1 post. I won’t answer separately.
