Nose Re-Surgery

I'm going to the clinic for a follow-up. It's okay to ask questions, right?

I had my nasal silicone implant removed, and at the 1-week mark I couldn't go for a follow-up because the clinic was on vacation, so I had the stitches removed somewhere else. Today I'm going to see the director for a follow-up. There's some protruding tissue next to the inside of my left nostril at the columella I want to ask whether it's cartilage, swelling, or scar tissue, whether it will go away, whether it's okay that I have intermittent numbness in my nose, and whether my nose might be crooked. When I meet the director, I'm planning to ask questions like this. That should be okay, right? There's still a slightly red feeling around the columella, so should I ask how to care for it? What else should I ask? Does my nose look crooked? My nostrils are a little uneven (the right side was originally a bit bigger too^^;) I don't mind the nostrils being different, but I'm worried it might collapse
