Nose Surgery Reviews

How my impression changed after getting rid of my dorsal hump~

My nose didn’t have a very severe dorsal hump, but it protruded slightly, and the tip was a bit droopy too, so overall it gave me a somewhat dull-looking impression. So I wanted to correct both the dorsal hump + nasal tip, and I went around for consultations. I had a consultation with Dr. Cha Myung-gyu at a plastic surgery clinic. After the doctor examined me, he said that lifting only the nasal tip would improve it, but since my nose is already on the higher side, touching only the tip could actually make the nasal bridge look lower. So he explained a plan to address dorsal hump removal + correction of the drooping nasal tip + the height balance together. And since my nasal tip was slightly deviated to the right, he said it needed to be corrected while pushing it toward the left, and he told me in advance that my nostrils might not be perfectly symmetrical during that process, so I understood that part and went ahead. I had already gone to consultations at a few places and had two more appointments booked afterward, but after hearing the consultation, the direction felt so clear that after thinking about it, I went back in and booked surgery for the next day lol I’m seriously, seriously satisfied with the result! Once the dorsal hump was gone, my impression became much softer, and as the nasal tip lifted, the whole line looked more refined, so I look much more sophisticated than before. The nostril asymmetry I was worried about is barely noticeable, so it’s not something that bothers me, and the line doesn’t look overly flashy; it settled naturally, so I like it even more!! For people like me who don’t have a severe dorsal hump but are still stressed about it, I totally recommend getting a consultation that looks at the nasal tip and the overall balance together!
