- Concerns before surgery My nasal bridge is on the higher side, but because I had a bulbous nose, my nose didn’t look high from the front, and I disliked how spread out my nasal alae looked- Online research / in-person consultations Since I live outside Seoul, I was doing online research, then around Chuseok last year I booked consultations at about 3 places and went in for themThis clinic had the most reviews that looked very natural and not too overdone, and I felt like they were tailoring the surgical direction to the style I wantedI hadn’t thought about osteotomy at first, but they only recommended it and told me to think it over enough before deciding(I'm very satisfied now.. I think I would’ve regretted it if I hadn’t done it)- Clinic review Both the consultant and the director were kind, and since it’s a single-doctor clinic, the wait was short, which was really nice(A friend who had surgery around the same time got stuck in waiting hell at another clinic)Based on the consultation details, the director checked the surgical direction once more on the day of surgery, so I somehow trusted them even more- After surgery On the day of surgery, breathing was difficult because of the cotton packing, and it was hard to sleepUntil week 1, the swelling and bruising were severe, so I focused on swelling care with 1-hour walks + pumpkin juice + swelling tea, and sleeping while sitting up was the hardest partOn the day it reached 1 week, I had the splint removed. There was still some swelling, but after taking off the splint, it felt like the swelling went down fasterIn week 2, I went to work with makeup on, and unless I said something, no one could tell; there was absolutely no obvious sign of the surgical area or anything like that xNow at 1 month, I think some minor swelling remains, but the nasal tip is getting softer and softer, so it feels natural even when touched nowThe spread-out look improved, and with the osteotomy the line became a bit smoother, but the nasal tip is higher, so I really like the side profile. From the front, my nose definitely looks smaller than before, so I’m extremely satisfied and wonder why I only did it nowPeople looking into natural-looking rhinoplasty should seriously consider this clinic
