Hello. It’s already been almost 6 months since I had lower and lateral canthoplasty. I’m going to write an honest update on how my eyes have been so far! When I went in for a follow-up after the surgery, I was worried that something might have gone wrong with my eye surgery, but the director checked my progress carefully and explained everything, so I felt reassured! I was also worried it would hurt when the stitches were removed, but for me it barely hurt. Just a slight stinging feeling? Lastly, conjunctival edema that can occur as an aftereffect of surgery was quite severe for me But once I used the eye drops prescribed by the hospital, it improved incredibly quickly haha. In conclusion, I think I made the right choice having it done at this hospital, which took thorough responsibility even for my postoperative follow-up~ +) The thing I was most worried about when deciding on the surgery was the corners reattaching, but looking at it now, 6 months later, they haven’t reattached at all. Up until 3 months after surgery, there was a little redness in my eyes, but now it’s gone, so they look completely natural haha
