When I was young, I saw friends around me getting double eyelid surgery, so I got surgery too. I got greedy and had epicanthoplasty done at the same time, and my double eyelids are still holding up very well! I wasn’t very swollen from the day of surgery, and after about two weeks the swelling had mostly settled. The doctor here does a lot of buried suture procedures, so they look that natural, but I’ve also seen many acquaintances whose lines came undone. Maybe because I did it together with epicanthoplasty, mine didn’t come undone. But at the time, they called it “magic epicanthoplasty” and said it would leave less scarring, so I did it, but I seriously regret the epicanthoplasty My original image disappeared, and as I get older my eyes look a bit too close together. I’m considering epicanthoplasty reversal.
