Review of Revision Surgery for Natural-Adhesion Buried-Suture Double Eyelids

First of all, I had my revision surgery again at the hospital where I had my first surgery. I even asked around beyond Gangnam and visited several very famous clinics in person, but.. To play it safe, my inline crease had settled well there, and the price was also very affordable. On top of that, when my friends saw my double eyelids, they often asked, “Where did you get your double eyelid surgery?” so I shared the information a lot too. The double eyelids I got with the natural-adhesion method in my third year of high school still haven’t come undone and are holding their place, heyyy.. But they were getting all loose and worn out,.. it felt like they would come undone soon. Still, with makeup on, my eyes were decent enough. But I wanted pretty eyes even when bare-faced. Even before putting on makeup, yep. When I put on makeup, my eyes do get bigger like this. Because I had full makeup on. I think I spent several hundred thousand won just on eyeshadows to make my eyes look bigger, haha. So because I wanted to keep solving this concern, on my birthday, as a birthday gift! I gifted myself double eyelid surgery. A self-gift? haha I had a consultation at the hospital where I had my first surgery, and in less than a week I booked right away and went ahead with the surgery..!! I chose a semi-out crease, but aside from semi-out, they also do inline creases really well, and above all, if you show them the crease you want and the kind of eyes you want according to your needs, the director designs it well to match the look you’re aiming for, so I’m satisfied. I think it settled nicely in a natural-yet-defined way. I was satisfied with my first crease too, and it was very natural, but I heard that these days the trend is a natural-yet-defined? kind of crease, so the doctor looked at my face and said a semi-out crease would probably suit me well too. I was also recommended an incision method, but incisional surgery takes longer for swelling to go down, and I had heard so many times that if it goes wrong once, you can’t turn it back.. After thinking about it, I went with the natural-adhesion method I had done for my first surgery. Instead, incision is more expensive, but the double eyelid is less likely to come undone, and you can basically see it as lasting for life. With natural adhesion, it seems like you need revision almost once every 9-10 years. This time, I’m getting revision double eyelid surgery after 10 years too. Anyway, I chose a semi-out crease, and I’m very satisfied because I had it done at the hospital where I had my first surgery.
