My nose was originally very small and low, and my skin had strong elasticity so it did not stretch well, plus my nasal bones were wide.. It was what people commonly call a "difficult nose" ㅠㅠ When I was younger, there wasn't much information, so of course I didn't know that you need to have favorable nasal conditions to get a dramatic-looking nose.. In the title, I wrote 7 times including AS surgeries such as adding cartilage, but during a revision surgery, the doctor used some material like mesh? Medpor? without telling me, and it protruded inside my nose, so I had to have yet another revision.. Then during recovery, inflammation developed, so they opened my nose again, removed the silicone, took out mesh fragments, and if I count surgeries like that too, the number of times my nose was opened is probably over 10 in total.. ㅠㅠㅠ Anyway, the very last surgery I had was an implant-free surgery, finished only with donated dermis and my own cartilage, but in the end my nose became bumpy and the tip gradually drooped ㅠ I think because I kept wondering why only I kept failing, I couldn't let go of my lingering attachment to my nose.. ㅠ
The reason I decided on this clinic was that about a year ago, I came across the plastic surgery clinic through Instagram Reels, and although I had absolutely no intention of operating on my nose again lol, it was a clinic that caught my interest because of the clear before-and-after difference. As the days went by, it felt like my nose tip was drooping more, so in January I visited the clinic to check the internal condition of my nose with a CT scan, and after hearing my whole nose story, the consultant was very worried for me, and Director Han Dae-hee consulted with me for almost an hour.. ㅠ
Because I had been to so many nose consultations due to all my previous surgeries, even consultations I went to after deciding on surgery were mostly done in 5-10 minutes, but even though I told them I had no intention of having surgery, they sincerely empathized with me, and the director and consultant worked hard to explain what direction the nose surgery would need to take for my nose to end up with a pretty shape and so on. So I felt it was a clinic that genuinely thinks of its patients, and I went there for a consultation but came back feeling healed instead ㅠㅠ lol I was so grateful.
In the end.. as my lingering attachment and hope for my nose, which I had been letting go of, started again lol, I booked surgery for the earliest possible date without consulting any other clinics, and the conclusion is that it finally succeeded. Honestly, because I had repeated failed nose surgeries, I was afraid I would get my hopes up and then be disappointed again ㅠㅠ I just thought it would be nice if I could get even a moderate angle, but even with my small nose, it ended up as a refined, pretty nose, so I am so, so happy.
As I wrote sincerely, the post got long, but I am truly, truly grateful to Director Han Dae-hee. Now even when I watch TV, my envy toward people with dramatic noses has completely disappeared!! 🥹 I am so, so happy that my suffering because of my nose is finally over..!
