After my first surgery, my nose gradually became upturned as a side effect, and I was so stressed that it had turned into a short nose and an upturned nose. On top of that, my nasal bridge was also deviated, so from the front the asymmetry was severe, and because of rhinitis, breathing felt stuffy too. Once I got into my 30s, my image became even more important to me, so this time, hoping it would absolutely be my last surgery, I went to see Director Im Ji-hong at Hi-End. After looking at my CT, Director Im Ji-hong said the internal structure of my nose was significantly deviated, and that the bones needed to be aligned through osteotomy for the line to come out straight. He explained in detail, from the materials to the surgical method, that to reliably bring down my short, upturned nose, autologous costal cartilage should be used to build a strong support strut. He also suggested resolving the functional rhinitis surgery at the same time, so I trusted him and decided to have the surgery. After the surgery, when I looked in the mirror, I almost cried. The nostrils that had been so upturned came down calmly, and the length of my short nose was adjusted just right for my facial proportions. Thanks to the osteotomy, my deviated nasal bridge became straight, and I got the refined straight-with-slight-curve line that I wanted. Since I had rhinitis surgery together, I can breathe so clearly and comfortably without nasal congestion. I was extremely worried because it was a revision surgery, but I really think Director Im Ji-hong’s skill is amazing. Since it was done with autologous costal cartilage, there is no drooping of the nasal tip, and the line is so pretty that people around me keep asking where I got my nose done.
