At first, it’s no implant, ear cartilage, silicone, septal cartilage, autologous dermis, costal cartilage, autologous costal cartilage... In the end, after 5 years, 10 years, 15 years, everyone seems to go all the way to autologous costal cartilage, then either has it removed late, or removes it early because of side effects, or removes it late. Only the timing differs, and it feels like it all goes around and comes back to the same place, doesn’t it?
