I wasn’t going to write a review until I fully recovered, but I can’t sleep... For my first surgery, I had 3 mm silicone, ear cartilage, and septal cartilage used, and I decided to have them removed because I was dissatisfied with the shape, it looked unnatural, and the cartilage started showing through at the nasal tip! I had everything removed except the septal columellar strut. When they opened it up, I don’t know exactly what was near the nasal tip, but it was all tangled up really messily. (After the surgery, they showed me photos taken during the procedure.) They said that was also why the shape looked even bulkier. What on earth did they do to my nose... I had the splint removed, and maybe because the strut was left in? The shape isn’t as disastrous as I expected! The nasal bridge has become extremely wide, and my nose also looks shorter. My original nose was short, so it feels like it shortened by exactly that much? I feel about 3 years younger lolol. This is just my personal thought, but unless someone is really interested in me or very close to me, I don’t think they would even notice that I had removal surgery. There really isn’t a huge difference to that extent. It’s exactly somewhere between my original nose and my surgical nose. Of course, it may change once the swelling goes down haha And after removing the silicone, I think the pulled-together look of my eyes improved a little. Right now, my nasal bridge is bruised, and it hurts so much even if I just barely brush against it. Washing my face seems to take 15 minutes lololol The nasal tip feels numb, like it has pins and needles lololol... This is normal, right..? My pores have also gotten ridiculously enlarged, so I sigh every time I look at them.... Now that I can wash my face every day, I’m going to try to restore my skin first, and starting next week I’ll diligently apply scar ointment. It may not be a huge help, but if you have anything you’re curious about, I’ll answer everything I can!! I also got a lot of help from this community before surgery, and I plan to keep getting help from here too haha..
