I got nose surgery with osteotomy for a small hump nose!

I was planning not to write a review if I didn’t like my nose after surgery, but now that it’s been over half a year, the recovery is ok, the nose shape is ok, and the clinic’s response was good, so I’m writing a review lol From the front, my nose looked somewhat okay, but from the side, the hump made my nose look thick, and overall it had no three-dimensional definition, so it definitely wasn’t a pretty nose When I first told my friends + parents that I was going to get nose surgery, they said why would you do that, and if I really didn’t like it, I should try filler But after looking up filler reviews, it didn’t seem like I’d get the nose I wanted lol And even if filler could even out the step from the hump, I heard it doesn’t last long, so I started looking into nose surgery When I went for a consultation at the clinic, the most interesting thing was that they looked at my nose shape and planned the surgery taking everything into account: small nose, bulbous nose, and hump At first, I also debated whether not to use silicone, but the director said that if silicone isn’t inserted after osteotomy, it’s hard to create a smooth nasal bridge They recommended placing it even if it was low, so I got 2 mm of silicone Honestly, that sounds really low, right? But my nose is small and my skin is on the tight side, so they said going higher than that wasn’t recommended They said otherwise the skin could become thin and show-through could happen, so I passed on going higher After surgery, when they removed the splint, my nose was so shiny and oily that I felt embarrassed, but everyone seemed used to it and didn’t say anything haha And what made me think I was right to get surgery instead of filler was that it was so fascinating to see the actual nose shape change so naturally Because I had osteotomy, the swelling on the nasal bridge went down the latest The funny thing is, from the side it didn’t look very swollen? But from the front, the bridge would look thick I think that swelling went down within a month And about 2 weeks after my nose surgery? I accidentally dropped my phone on my face I was so shocked that I contacted the consultant, and they handled it really well Thankfully, it’s settling in place without any problems.. I also bought an anti-adhesion product and an anti-inflammatory spray from the clinic I think using those together made things even better, so everyone should check whether your clinic has things like this! Anyway, people around me all asked why I was getting nose surgery But now everyone says it was a good decision.. People I’ve only met a few times don’t notice that I had my nose done, but when I tell them, they’re like, “Oh?? You really did??” That’s about the extent of it That’s how little it looks like I had surgery After getting my nose done, my side profile looks really pretty in photos And strangely, the line from my forehead to nose to lips looks so pretty, so I’m satisfied
