Only septal cartilage was used, and there are extensions on both sides of the septum, plus two layers of tip cartilage placed on top. The conclusion is that the septum inside my nose is currently deviated and blocking the airway on one side. I consulted the three major clinics + one more place, and two places said complete removal is possible + reinforcement if needed (one opinion was that reinforcement probably wouldn’t be necessary), one place said reinforcement with costal cartilage, and one place refused. Is complete removal the right choice? I’m worried that even if things are fine right after removal, whether it’ll still be okay decades later.. Is there anyone here who had a lot of septal cartilage used like me, got complete removal, and is living well?

It has been exactly 10 years since my nose surgery, and I’m living with a chalk-like nose, so I’m trying to look into revision rhinoplasty.. lol They say if your skin is thin or not very elastic, using an implant wider than the nasal bone…

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoJan 27 What do you think about ㅍㄹㅁ, ㅊㅁ, and ㄱㅇㅅ?
I’m planning to remove Gore-Tex from my nasal bridge and place a little dermis. For my nasal tip, I had septal extension surgery. I’m still debating what to do about the tip.. Could any of them be blacklisted or have had bad…
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoJan 27 I'm new to nose implant removal,,,, please tell me..
If I have removal done, does that definitely mean contracture won’t happen? During the removal process, if cartilage is shaved and inserted because of a saddle nose or a step-off, or if the area is filled with autologous dermis, is there a
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoJan 26 Nose implant removal is harder ..
Nose implant removal feels even more hit-or-miss than nose surgery, so it’s even more stressful. Some people say you have to remove everything to avoid revision surgery, while others say removing everything will make you need revision…
