I’ve heard a lot that a contraction phase can happen after removal, but can it also happen just after rhinoplasty? Of course, it probably depends on the surgical method, but I had a closed approach, and minced ear cartilage was placed in my nasal bridge and nasal tip. I asked the doctor how the minced cartilage placed on top was fixed, and they said it wasn’t fixed in place; they only dissect the area on the nose where it will be placed and insert it into that space. Then, after dissecting and putting in the cartilage, is it correct that the dissected space gradually contracts? It doesn’t show well in photos, but in real life, only the right nostril side looks very slightly lifted, as if it is pulled inward compared with the left, so I’m curious whether taking Rizaben might help a bit... Also, I’m not sure if it shows in the photo, but only the right side of the nasal bridge is bulging compared with the left, as if the tissue inside is swollen. Could that be affecting only the right side contracting and lifting upward? If that’s the case, would taking Rizaben help a little? This is subtly bothering me... Especially because both sides of the nasal bridge should be smooth, but the right side of my nasal bridge alone looks bulging and swollen, and that’s the most stressful part

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoJan 27 Is complete removal the right choice?

If I have removal done, does that definitely mean contracture won’t happen? During the removal process, if cartilage is shaved and inserted because of a saddle nose or a step-off, or if the area is filled with autologous dermis, is there a
