If removal is done less than a year after the first surgery, in cases where it wasn’t a revision rhinoplasty and there was no osteotomy or hump reduction, judging from everyone’s reviews, is it true that about 80% of the original nose comes back? It’s still too early for me to go for consultations As far as I know, the septal cartilage was used for extension, and I’m planning to have the silicone and the entire donated costal cartilage strut removed, but I can’t get a consultation yet, so I’m asking here first because I’m frustrated. I’m asking because I feel stuck. I’m thinking of removing it around the 7-month mark before it adheres more. The reasons for removal are dissatisfaction with the shape, foreign-body sensation, narrowing of one airway, and anxiety.
