It’s been about 8 months now since my nose surgery. Quite a bit of time has passed, but my satisfaction is still high, so I’m leaving this review. I was always self-conscious about my side profile because of my hooked nose, and I didn’t like how my nose seemed to protrude even more when I smiled or made facial expressions, so I decided to get hooked nose surgery. Honestly, in the early stage after surgery, I did wonder, “Is my nose a little too high?” But just as the clinic told me, as time passed, the swelling went down and the line gradually settled more naturally. Now it feels like the line has settled to suit my face, with no artificial look at all. Now that I’m 8 months post-op, there’s no foreign sensation when I smile or talk, and there are almost no moments when I have to be careful with my expressions or feel conscious because of my nose. When taking photos, my side profile doesn’t feel burdensome anymore, so it’s nice that I don’t have to worry unnecessarily about angles. These days, people around me often say that my nose line is pretty, that the hump was really well refined, and that it turned out naturally, so I’m even more satisfied. Rather than a nose that noticeably became higher, it feels well balanced with my whole face, which makes me like it even more. Even when exercising now, I don’t feel any stimulation or discomfort in my nose at all, and in daily life I almost forget that I had nose surgery. For those considering hooked nose surgery, I really want to say: don’t get impatient just by looking at the early line, and you need to wait at least a few months to see the real result. Like me, once you’re around 8 months post-op, I think the naturalness and satisfaction definitely feel different.
