The day has come~ Right now I feel so, so refreshed and relieved I had a consultation at the clinic and went straight into the procedure 10:40 - consultation with the doctor 11:10 - procedure started They jabbed 4 to 5 anesthetic injections on each side like crazy Honestly, it didn’t hurt that much, but the sound of the needle piercing the skin was a bit creepy But why wasn’t I nervous? I wasn’t even shaking Early this morning I was so excited and nervous that I couldn’t even sleep After anesthesia, they started working right away Ugh~~ I thought radiofrequency was done in just one spot but it turns out they poke about 7 to 8 spots per side while doing it. Ugh~ creepy. More creepy than painful,,,,, I really didn’t think it was painful. There was no sound, no burning smell, just the feeling of being poked.... But it felt like they were poking in so deeply that the needle almost came out through the outside of my cheek. (People who’ve had radiofrequency will know this feeling) Still, it hurt much less than I expected. I’m a married woman, so I guess I really do have a lot of patience. Especially when it comes to becoming prettier, I can clench my teeth and endure it hahaha They said it was already over~ It does end quickly. It didn’t swell much there, but when I got home.. I was really Dooly~~~ I didn’t understand it. No way I’d get as far as Dooly..... But yes, you become Dooly. My face is so, so funny. Right after it ended, I came out and ate cold buckwheat noodles with my mom and I thought I was eating in my own way, but the noodles just streamed right out of my mouth. Because the anesthesia hadn’t worn off, I had no sensation.. So I just swallowed gulp after gulp. I took medicine... and now it doesn’t hurt at all, but the areas inside my mouth where the needle went in are a bit raw. The clinic was kind, and all the managers were such beauties I’m jealous~ They say the more it swells, the more effective it is, right? I really swelled a lot. Even I was surprised. I’m doing an ice compress now, and my own trick is: put ice and water in a sanitary plastic bag at a 2:1 ratio (if you use only ice, it doesn’t adhere to the face), tie it tightly, then connect one of those wire ties for bread bags (the long kind), matching the length of the bag and the wire tie like headphones, and place it over your head like headphones. Then wrap a long towel or scarf from your head down to your chin. Then, like me, you can use the PC while icing, and your hands are free. I hope time passes quickly. Pretty-and-kind, how is your swelling? Mine will be no joke by tomorrow, right? Still, it feels so refreshing and nice~
