I had it done with an open approach, but I couldn't do it under sedation. They wouldn't do it for me. They said it would be harder if I woke up. Anyway, when they anesthetized me, I thought I was going to die and come out of it. It hurt beyond anything words can describe. I've had surgery on my toes twice, so I had some experience with local anesthesia and thought it would be bearable. But it wasn't like that. Absolutely do it under sedation. I recommend local anesthesia only to people who want to know what pain like death feels like.ㅠㅠ; Anyway, after the anesthesia was done, I could only feel sensations and there was no pain. They raised it by somewhere between 5 and 5.5 mm with silicone, tied the cartilage, and raised the nasal tip too. When I say 5 mm, it sounds like it was raised a lot, right? But the doctor said my nose must have been lower than it looked, because even after raising it this much, it didn't go up in an obviously, fully noticeable way. Looking here too, the average seems to be around 3.0-4.5, so I wondered if I was raising it too much, but it is not severely artificial. When they had roughly finished the surgery and told me to look in the mirror and asked if I liked it, I said the nasal tip seemed too upturned.. so they opened it again and fixed it. Because of that, maybe the time got delayed, and when they were suturing, the anesthesia wore off, so I could feel all the pain of the flesh being lifted. They said anesthetizing again would hurt more, so they just did it. Maybe because the pain during anesthesia had been so severe, afterward it did not hurt at all~. There is less bruising than I expected, too. There is not much swelling either. Some people said they bled a lot.. but I did not at all. I had surgery at 7 yesterday and it seems to have ended around 9. Other than taking 2 Tylenol yesterday because I thought it might hurt once the anesthesia wore off, strangely, there has been no pain at all. For reference, I had it done at Sㅇ in Songnae. I'm wearing a splint now, so I don't know the exact shape, but I was very satisfied with the condition right after surgery yesterday. My round, broad face seems to have gone from flat to slightly three-dimensional. My eyes also seem slightly bigger. After the stitches are removed, I'll think about it and upload photos. I got so much help from this community. If you have any questions, send me a message. I'll answer diligently as much as I received help.^^
