I thought I was now living well without worrying about it, but because I injured my nose so often, one day I suddenly felt that my nose was blocked. So after asking around at several ENT clinics, the local ENT clinic said -> "Let's shave the bones on both sides of the nose a little more." Gasp. The Kim** ENT clinic inside the Tower Palace shopping area said -> "Hmm, there is almost no septal cartilage, so it is hard to correct with surgery. In other words, even if you have surgery, the chance of improvement is 40%." The Ha* ENT clinic in Yeoksam-dong said -> "There is absolutely nothing wrong." and so on~~~ Especially among these, I thought the Ha* ENT clinic in Yeoksam-dong was the best hospital in Korea. But it wasn't a bank or anything, yet I had to take a number to be seen, and the consultation lasted less than 2 minutes.. I was really disappointed. Then I learned about surgery using autologous tissue, and thinking I should at least have a consultation, I asked around here and there, and ended up having surgery at the hospital where I had it done now. In my case, they used 100% autologous tissue. With that autologous tissue, they reconstructed the nasal framework. Maybe because of that, they say I have to keep a plastic-like implant inside my nose until 3 weeks after surgery. Honestly, as someone who has had surgery several times, I don't have much trust in doctors. Still, I thought this would be the last time and decided to try it. Let's trust the doctor once.. I thought. In my case, the focus was first on functional rhinoplasty, but since the price was what it was (it costs about as much as 2 to 3 expensive-looking rhinoplasty surgeries. Gasp.), I also hoped the external shape would come out well. The doctor, of course.....said he would do that for me. Oh, and during surgery, I remember the doctor saying that because autologous tissue takes about 1 year to become complete(?), around that time it would become lower by about 2 mm (my memory is fuzzy).... So since I was doing it anyway, even if it was a bit excessive at first, it would be better to make it a little higher....... I was half-asleep.. was it a dream??? Anyway, tomorrow I will remove the plastic splint on the outside of my nose and tell you again about the outer appearance. What I felt this time is that once you choose a hospital and choose a doctor, please have enough conversation with them and do not pay too much attention to what people around you say. And once you have chosen a doctor, trust that doctor. Also, if possible, do not let anyone put a knife to your face. Once you do, you regret it. Whether it is cosmetic surgery or rhinitis surgery. *Chatter.. After surgery, I haven't been smoking. I'm trying to quit while I'm at it. The Dunhill in my drawer is tempting me as it looks at me..... Weight loss of 4 kg (69 -> 65) ugh..... As for smoking and weight, it's probably because my nose is blocked, so I can't smoke. Also because it's hard to eat anything.. I finally had all the gauze that was packed tightly in my nose removed yesterday. But I still have an implant and gauze inside my nose, and because of nasal discharge + blood, I'm breathing only through my mouth. And breathing only through my mouth is really unbearable. Ugh....
