I had surgery 7 years ago without really knowing anything, and my columella gradually started to bend. In the end, I ended up with side effects. 1. Bent columella 2. Cartilage protrusion 3. Thinning skin, cartilage showing through 4. Uneven nostrils
My nasal septum also bent along with it, and the cartilage that had been supporting the nasal tip collapsed, so a gray line appeared on the left side too. I seriously suffer from rhinitis every day, and since there is scar tissue inside as well, when rhinitis flares up it is hell.
Everyone, please be careful when deciding on nose surgery. I have to get revision surgeryㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ I also looked into removal, but they said my nose could collapse if I remove it, so I think I’ll just get revision surgery…
