I had septal extension with autologous costal cartilage, columella lowering, nasal tip work using pieces of septal cartilage, cartilage tying, nostril reduction, and 4 mm silicone, and I’m now at week 6, but my nose is blocked. Both sides take turns getting blocked and opening up, but like with a cold or rhinitis, the left side gets blocked more often than the right. If I block the open nostril on one side and try to breathe, I can’t breathe well and there’s a wheezing sound… If I lie on my left side, the right side opens up, and if I lie on my right side, the left side opens up. Even taking rhinitis medication doesn’t make it better, and my nasal mucous membrane is dry too. Compared with the early period after surgery, I don’t get much runny nose either, and even when I breathe, the feeling of breathing…

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
