I’m currently 9 months post-op, and the surgery was medial and lateral osteotomy. I didn’t use an implant, and the materials used were ear cartilage and septal cartilage. Even before plastic surgery, there were often times when breathing felt uncomfortable, but I don’t know if it’s because of the osteotomy or the septal extension, but breathing has become much more uncomfortable. I think it was okay until 4 or 5 months after surgery, but it feels like it’s gradually getting more uncomfortable. When the mucous membrane inside my nose gets dry, it feels like it sticks and interferes with breathing, and the weather clearly seems to have an effect too. I don’t know if it would improve if I remove it. Has anyone had an experience similar to mine?

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
