....For almost a month after surgery.... I went to the clinic without even having dinner, had nasal cleansing done, slept sitting up... managed my diet, and disinfected it every morning and evening every day...
And the result is early removal......
I don’t know what I’ve been doing until now, or what I went through all that hardship for during all that time...
Draining pooled blood, having blood drawn, having cotton pushed in raw without anesthesia, open irrigation, early correction.... and the last step is early removal........ My nose was fine until 1 week after the early correction, but on day 11 they said contracture was starting and that we should remove it.....
I guess this is the price I pay for deciding too hastily without doing consultations elsewhere, just because of the clinic atmosphere and the staff’s kindness....
Only now I’m looking up revision rhinoplasty photos and reviews, and I feel stupid.... My partner is beside me encouraging me and saying it’s okay, but my self-esteem has dropped so much..... Even at work, whatever I did, I used to act confidently... but I’m scared to take off my mask... When I make eye contact and talk with people, it feels like they’re only looking at my nose... Since I went through such a huge ordeal, when they ask to see the rhinoplasty result too........ people look and then smile awkwardly.....
Really, filter out clinics that do sloppy consultations ... and suddenly match you with a director who is running an event....... Seriously..... I didn’t even have the right to choose the director...
I hope everyone else besides me succeeds and becomes prettier....
