My primary surgery was 15 years ago. I have ear cartilage extending long all the way to the nasal tip, with the columella part of an L-shaped silicone implant cut into an I-shape. Currently, when I’m tired or haven’t slept well, I intermittently feel a foreign-body sensation around the nasal bridge. Compared with 10 years ago, it feels like the silicone position at the nasal tip has become slightly shorter. However, I’m not greatly dissatisfied with the current shape.
This is my current situation, but after learning about silicone-related complications, I’ve become anxious, so I’ve been going around for revision-removal consultations.
