I had ear cartilage used for the nasal tip and nostril reduction, and I didn’t have any implant put in. My nasal bridge is almost nonexistent, but the reason I didn’t do it was because of anxiety, and my goal was to improve how overly wide my nose looked from the front, so that’s what I did. Since the cartilage at my nasal tip is showing through, I’ve been going for consultations about nose surgery removal. But because I didn’t have an implant, have no functional problems, am roughly satisfied with the shape, and it’s just simple show-through, the clinics all reacted like, “Why exactly do you want to remove it? We can do it, but is it really necessary?” Now, even if a little redness comes up, I take anti-inflammatory medication, I can’t even properly touch my nose, and I’m so sick of doing this that I really want to take it out.
