Because I had so many nose surgeries and removals, I also developed contracture, so I got confused between contracture and contraction. Contraction was that feeling of the nose lifting, the feeling of it rising toward the forehead, feeling tight and shrinking; after waking up it would get hard, and after massaging it would loosen a bit then get hard again. I thought it would resolve in a month and a half, but even after more than three months it still didn’t loosen. Maybe I massaged too strongly, because even though the silicone had been removed, I developed inflammation and it almost became a serious problem. Ironically, after that, I felt like the contraction loosened. The tight and lifted feeling disappeared, and even after waking up, the nose deformation was minimal…
