It’s been 1 year since my rhinoplasty, and after having septal extension at the nasal tip + hump osteotomy, my nose became chalky-looking. Is there a way to correct a chalky-looking nose? I feel like it would have been okay if it weren’t for the osteotomy, but I get upset every time I look at it. I’m wondering whether I need to widen the alar area with fat grafting or insert silicone.

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
