Everyone, I had removal done today. I only had silicone in, but since it had been in for about 17 years, apparently it was a mess when they opened it up. First of all, because of scar tissue, the nasal tip was blunt like a square shape, and I think the removal took about 2 hours. The nasal tip had severe contracture, so they had no choice but to use septal cartilage to lower the tip as much as possible, and they explained this to me beforehand. The silicone was trying to break through the right nasal tip, and they showed me the area during surgery where it had been removed from. It had become very thin and was a bit curled inward. But I guess it would have been better if I had come sooner...

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
