A post from someone skeptical about rhinoplasty I went back to the clinic where I had it done for a follow-up, and they said they could see something trying to come out at the nasal tip and that it needed to be removed. I got scared, quickly scheduled a date, and just had it removed. Only the silicone. But after having it removed, I looked it up and saw a lot of posts saying it’s better to remove something called the capsule. I didn’t even know what that was, sigh. So I asked the clinic, and of course they said they didn’t remove the capsule. Ha, I thought, now that I’ve removed the silicone, I’m not going to touch my nose anymoreㅜㅜ It’s over ㅜㅜ But hearing that this remaining capsule could cause contracture too has me mentally breaking down…

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
