There are two people around me whose nose surgeries went well. One had silicone plus autologous costal cartilage, and the other had all autologous costal cartilage. Both are okay, but the person who did all autologous costal cartilage looks natural and pretty. But they said that doctor doesn’t do nose surgery anymore. There must be a reason, but there’s no way to know. I went for a consultation with a director at a plastic surgery clinic, and they said autologous costal cartilage can change shape and get absorbed, making the nose lower. I want to use only autologous costal cartilage because of silicone complications, but I’m conflicted. Does autologous costal cartilage really deform a lot?
