It’s been four months since I had functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty, and I have septal extension using autologous costal cartilage. What I’m curious about is, when I lie on my side to the left or right, or turn my head left and right, I feel something shifting to one side. Is that because the septum is empty from harvesting septal cartilage, or is it because of the septal extension? If I remove the septal extension, will this disappear too?

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
