I had surgery with L-shaped silicone 10 years ago, but it didn’t look very noticeable and my bulbous nose wasn’t properly improved, so I searched online and went around to consultations like crazy to find a good hospital. Because of the step-off at the nasal tip, it didn’t look smooth, and that stressed me out too. My mouth protrudes a bit, so my nose would need to be somewhat high for it to look recessed, but it didn’t match the harmony of my facial features, and only my lower face looked like it was protruding, so that was my concern.
