I had my nose done over 10 years ago with silicone inserted, and it was a revision surgery. You can’t really tell up close, but when I look at photos taken from farther away, my nostrils are definitely lifted. It seems like contracture is happening, but these days I hear revision surgeries are done by taking things like rib cartilage, so I’m scared. It’s not my nose that worries me; I’m scared of harvesting costal cartilage. I’m wondering if there are overall problems with movement, pain, or the body in general, so if anyone has done it, could you share your experience?

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
