I wasn’t even told they were doing a septal extension graft and thought they were only placing a support strut, but after the extension graft, my nose is fixed to the columella, so I can’t make facial expressions and it keeps catching here and there, which is really hard. My philtrum is gradually starting to hurt too. I’m going around for consultations, and I’m debating whether I should leave even the support strut or remove everything. If even the support strut remains, will the discomfort be the same?
