I used autologous costal cartilage 4 years ago, but recently there has been visible cartilage at the tip, so they suggested surgery to slightly trim the protruding part and reinforce the nasal tip with dermis and ear cartilage. I’m really torn about it. Will doing it this way resolve it? I looked for some cases, but there aren’t many reviews saying it was resolved long-term. I also wonder if, when people are fully healed, they just don’t bother leaving reviews, so maybe it has been resolved for them. Is there anyone here who has resolved visible cartilage?
