I went for a consultation to have everything in my nose removed, and they mentioned a plastic-surgery reinforcement procedure where, during surgery, they would open up the inside and, if the nasal septum is severely deviated, straighten it and return it to its original position. They said they would do it if it looks serious, and not do it if it doesn’t. But no matter how much I search, there isn’t much information about septal reinforcement, so I’m writing because I’m curious. Does anyone know about this? I’ve seen posts saying that if it’s handled incorrectly, a perforation can occur, and others saying that if it’s completely removed, you can get a saddle nose. I’m wondering which is correct. I’m not having surgery because there’s something wrong with my nose; I’m just dissatisfied with the shape and don’t like having a foreign material in there, so after 10 years I…
