Everyone, it’s now been 11 days since my surgery. I’m from outside Seoul, so I wondered if it would be okay to have surgery in Seoul, but I ended up taking time off work, so I’ve been going to my appointments with peace of mind. I was going to upload photos, but lately it feels like the swelling is coming back, so I’ll upload them next time.
First, I thought I’d leave some notes on the things I was curious about before surgery, in case they help even a little for everyone getting removal surgery.
For my first surgery, I had an open rhinoplasty with silicone and ear cartilage inserted, and my nose had inflammation and contracture. When they opened it during the removal surgery, they found that silicone, ear cartilage, and septal extension had been done.
