3-month post-op review of Mentor Extra breast augmentation
Mentor Extra Full C (350 cc each) Inframammary incision
Before surgery, I was about a 70AA. When I went to Emefeel to have my bra size measured, they said an A could become a C cup, so I went in with high hopes, but my breasts were so small that I was barely a 65A People say if you gain weight your chest gets bigger too, but maybe because my body type naturally doesn’t gain much fat in my upper body, even when I gained 8 kg I never once fit an A-cup bra.. Honestly, I wasn’t even trying to have a huge chest, so if I could have just gotten a full A, I probably wouldn’t have had surgery, but my breasts were really, really tiny and the stress was severe If I wore even slightly fitted clothes, I had to wear a huge push-up bra no matter what;;; I couldn’t even wear bras from famous brands, and every day I searched for huge push-up bras on discount shopping malls and bought them Because of that I also had digestion problems and got indigestion often.. Still, in my early to mid-20s I could manage it well, but once I hit my late 20s, even wearing a push-up bra got so hard...? One time that really scared me was when I wore fitted clothes (of course with a huge push-up bra) and took the Line 9 express, and there were so many people that I kept getting shoved, my chest felt so tight, and because it was COVID and I was wearing a mask, I couldn’t breathe and started breaking out in cold sweat.. So I even got off midway and took a taxi I wonder if anyone can relate... Anyway, after thinking about it for over 10 years, I decided to give myself breast augmentation as a 30th-birthday gift, and once I made up my mind, everything went very smoothly At first I was going to do B, but my friends said that if I was going to spend that money and get surgery, what was the point, so I decided on C Then during the consultation, the manager said Full C would probably be best, so I went with Full C. Even before the consultation, safety was the most important thing to me, so I had already decided on Mentor Extra, which has FDA approval for both the outer shell and the inner material. When I actually went and touched the implants, I was very satisfied with the feel by my standards too!!! I’m under 160 cm tall and don’t even weigh 45 kg, so I worried that Full C might look too unnatural or make my upper body look too bulky (because I thought people with large breasts can look a bit bulky even if they gain just a little weight). But at the consultation I tried on a bra? with implants in it and looked in the mirror, and I thought, oh, the way clothes fit is completely different and it’s not as big as I expected(?), so yes, Full C is the answer for me, and I booked the surgery date and went ahead. I’ve been writing about my surgery-day, 1-week, 1-month, and 2-month reviews here, so if you look at my posts you should be able to find them. I’m going to write my 3-month review now. Actually, I’m already at 4 months now, but even before surgery I looked up a lot of reviews, and after surgery I searched obsessively for follow-up reviews too, wondering when it would start looking natural Since I got a lot of information myself, I thought there might be people like me? I’ll write it down just as I noted it in my memo app The upper fullness has improved a lot, and the feel has become really soft. When I touch it and cup the whole breast, there’s still a slightly firm?? kind of feeling, but if I touch the lower sides around the nipples, it’s completely smooth The gap between the breasts has also closed quite a bit, and you can see the scar fading more and more! Especially since I took photos at 1 week, 1 month, and 2 months after surgery, the comparison clearly shows in the pictures how much more natural it has become, and in real life it looks even more natural!!! Yesterday I met up with my friends They were just touching my chest because they were curious They were the friends I had met when I was 1 month post-op. But they were so shocked and said, wow, back then it still felt a bit firm, but now it’s so soft They said that by around 6 months it’ll probably just become completely your own chest Three of my friends have gotten the urge to get breast augmentation because of me, and I tell them all to definitely do it. Discomfort? Well, the pain for about 3-4 days after surgery, having to abstain from alcohol for a month (I abstained for two months just in case), the face breakouts I got from taking medication to prevent capsular contracture (when I went for a follow-up and told the surgeon, he said I didn’t have to take it. Still, I did take it at least once every three days), and having to sleep only on my back for about a month. Oh, and I couldn’t exercise for a month and only ate, so I gained about 5 kg then, but I was intentionally eating well at the time Since it’s still a major surgery, I thought I should make sure I got enough nutrition Weight can be lost later, but if nutrition doesn’t go in properly and my recovery goes badly or my health gets worse, then what And I slowly started exercising again after 2 months, so over the next 2 months at the 3-4 month stage I lost 7 kg! I had undergone surgery, accepting the money, time, and pain, so I could have a better figure, and I felt it would be such a waste to live as a chubby person with big breasts that dieting actually went really well for me too? Anyway, it was around that level, but the surgery was so satisfying that whenever friends ask me about breast augmentation, I tell them to do it without hesitation First of all, the way clothes fit is completely different, and there are no restrictions when choosing clothes. I no longer have to wear those stuffy push-up bras, and I’ve heard that large breasts can strain the neck and shoulders, but a C size doesn’t seem to put any strain on my neck or shoulders Also, although I’m actually short and have no chest, I do have wide hips and butt, and my friends even say my shoulder line is the prettiest part of my body..... heh. But when I wore clothes that showed off my collarbone-shoulder line or my narrow waist and wide hips, it actually made the lack of chest stand out more, which was really upsetting (that’s why I was obsessed with those huge push-up bras that made it hard to breathe). Now the best thing is that I can wear any clothes freely without not being able to breathe or having the disaster of indigestion and I think I’ve become more confident too My posture seems to be better as well (I used to hunch because I had no confidence in my chest, so I had severe rounded shoulders). I had lost the appeal of my other good features because I had no chest, but now that I’ve got a chest, all the strengths my body already had are coming back, and I wonder why I didn’t do it sooner... I should have done it when I was younger and prettier.... But I’m proud of myself for not delaying any longer and just going for it... Now, three months after surgery, I don’t feel any discomfort or awkwardness at all Going forward, it’ll probably become even more natural, and I feel like I won’t even remember the nearly 30 years I lived without a chest The weather is getting hotter now too, and I’m slowly making vacation plans. Ah, I’m so happy that I don’t have to buy a swimsuit with frills If you’re curious about anything, leave a comment
