Breast Surgery Reviews@breast-review

Day 4 Post-op Review

I started exercising as a hobby, and as I lost body fat, my breasts also got drastically smaller, so I decided to have surgery.

Reasons I chose this hospital: 1. When I got filler here before, the doctor in charge was kind, so I had a good impression of the place. 2. While I was waiting for my filler, there were two or three people making breast surgery appointments. 3. It was the same implant, but the price was reasonable compared with other hospitals. 4. I thought it would be good for summer because I only needed an upper band and did not have to wear a compression bra. 5. I tend to choose hospitals based on my gut feeling rather than searching meticulously myself (I have never failed before), so this time too, I booked a consultation only here and scheduled the surgery right away without thinking it would go wrong.

Director: He cut out all unnecessary extras and told me exactly only what was needed. Of course he answered my questions well, and because he had a dry, professional feel, the consultation was comfortable and not burdensome. I thought the doctor would explain the surgical progress after the operation was over, but there was nothing like that, so that was disappointing.

Consultant: There was no pressure, and she gave clear answers to the parts I was worried about. I kept asking various things through KakaoTalk, but she was always kind, and I was touched when I saw that she replied at 8 a.m. Besides that, the consultant accommodated everything that did not fit my personal circumstances. Honestly, I thought that after the surgery was over, since I had already paid everything, they would not take much care of me, but that was not the case at all. She was so kind that I personally wanted to thank her.

Surgery review (no drain, pain-control injection yes - removed on Sunday) Day of surgery: Other than walking more slowly than usual and having limited movement, I was better than expected, to the point that I did not look like someone who had breast surgery. It takes 2 hours to get home, but I took the subway and bus by myself without a problem. It was rush-hour packed transit, so I was jostled by people, but it was not too hard. I guess we use the chest muscles a lot more in daily life than expected, because even small actions caused a tingling feeling in my chest, but I just thought it was interesting and did not make a big deal of it.

Post-op days 1-2: Before surgery, I opened all the water bottle caps in advance and put the things I thought I would need within easy reach, so maybe because of that I did not have to use strength unnecessarily. Since my range of activity was not large, I did not have major pain in particular, and my condition was fine, so I ate meals and could sit down, lie down, and get up by myself without problems. Since it was transaxillary, my armpits had an aching feeling, but it was not painful enough to take painkillers. It was not painful like menstrual cramps, but more like a subtle annoying sensation. My breasts were as firm and swollen as bouncy balls, like they might burst, and because of swelling, my weight increased by 3 kg. The swelling was not only in my breasts but also appeared in my abdomen and thighs.

Post-op day 3: I could use my arms more freely than expected. I could scratch my back well too, but I think having a back scratcher would be even better. I removed the gauze attached to my armpits and showered for the first time. I washed my hair fine too. My home and workplace are a 20-minute walk apart, so I thought of it as a walk and walked to work, but moving around briefly at home and walking for a long time were clearly different. As I walked, I got short of breath, and when I tried to take a deep breath, my expanded lungs stimulated my chest, so my breasts hurt. Since I have an office job, I thought it would be fine, and there was no problem working, but if you can rest, I hope you rest. In the end, I used a half-day off and went home, and maybe because my activity suddenly increased after having no activity, my breasts hurt so much. The breast pain got better after resting comfortably at home.

Post-op day 4 (now): Other than some stiffness in my shoulders, armpits, and breasts, there is no pain. I am the type who really cannot stay still, so I cleaned the house and briefly went out in front of my home, but as expected, when my activity increased, breast pain developed. But if I lie down and rest, it gets better, and the swelling is still there.

I usually often wear fitted clothes, crop tops, and sleeveless tops, so I want the swelling, especially the upper fullness, to go down quickly and wear them comfortably.
