I had non-incisional alar reduction with Ellasticon here, and I really felt a foreign-body sensation every day and stress every day from the feeling of the thread pulling on my flesh. In the end, it got to the point where I needed to remove the silicone from my nose surgery, too, because it seemed like an infection had traveled along the septum to the tip of my nose. At the removal-specialist hospital they said the infection had spread because of this and told me to remove it. There was no professionalism, they got flustered during surgery, couldn’t find the thread, and I have a lot to say, but I don’t even have the strength to argue with the hospital anymore.
