About 14 or 15 years ago, I had double-eyelid incision surgery, magic epicanthoplasty, and tip rhinoplasty. Back then, magic epicanthoplasty had only recently come out, and the clinic seemed to be strongly promoting it. The doctor strongly recommended it, saying it wouldn't leave scars and would be so pretty. In reality, I had narrow horizontal eyes but relatively tall vertical height, so I didn't need upper canthoplasty, but I was a senior in high school and, hearing that it would make me prettier, I didn't think deeply and went through with it. Even now, 14 years later, I'm still suffering from complications from the magic epicanthoplasty, and only recently did I finally get a revision from a clinic in Seoul that specializes in canthoplasty revision.
