After first gathering some information and studying a little, I started going out and checking places. I’m not just the type who wants to make the nose higher. I wanted a look that naturally fits my face and feels clearly different. With only that mindset, I kept going to consultations, and in the end I had surgery with Dr. Kim Dae-hwa. What was truly good about the consultation was that he listened to every one of my words without missing any, and even pointed out the worries I couldn’t even explain myself. I still remember the doctor saying, “The shape of the tip affects the facial vibe more than a low bridge does~” When he asked what line I wanted, I said I didn’t want a simply high and pointy doll-like nose, but a natural, soft line that suits my face. He understood it precisely and, while keeping the bridge moderate and defining the tip clearly, shaped it so the bulky nose line was slimmed down just the right way. One nose changed, but the whole face feels more organized? It also looks much easier and prettier when I do makeup. Even with less shading, shadows still appear, and even a little highlight makes a visible effect. And TMI, but this was my first cosmetic surgery overall. That’s why I had a lot of worries and fears, but looking back, the reason I can be satisfied is that almost everything was decided in the consultation. For me, a hospital seems most important is whether you communicate well with the doctor. If they cut you off or only insist on their own opinion, think it through first!!
