They do not cut the center part of the nose.. The surgery was done by making an incision inside the nostril. The scar isn't visible... --------------------- [Original message] --------------------- Do they cut the center part of the nose too when doing rhinoplasty? --------------------- [Original message] --------------------- I removed the stitches yesterday. On day 3, I went in to have it disinfected.. At that time the doctor said if I wanted to wash, I could wash. So I covered only the sewn nostril with gauze and took a shower..^^;; (Of course, I couldn't wash around the nose because tape was still on there.) And on day 5, it felt too stuffy, so I just took the tape off myself. I still kept my nose covered and showered, and that day I even gently rubbed and washed the nose itself. On day 6, the stitches were removed.. They had been sewn with dissolvable thread, but because of inflammation issues too, the doctor said it would be better to just remove them. So they removed them.. and it really hardly hurt. (I'm the type who exaggerates pain quite a bit for a man..) As of today, day 7, my condition is.. 1. First, they cut the right side of the nose, and there is still bruising around the right eye. There is also a scab. 2. The tip of the nose has hardened. I didn't touch the tip of my nose, but because there was a stitched area, it feels hard. If I touch it, it hurts like a bruise.. Thanks to that, the tip of my nose looks swollen..ㅡㅡ;; 3. From the front, the bridge is very noticeable. Because of that, it feels a bit exotic, or maybe I should say it looks kind of rich? It's hard to describe.. It feels like I don't look like a native Korean anymore. Well.. it could also be because of the swelling..ㅡㅡ;; And my eyes are long from side to side.. now they look even longer.. (Did that change the vibe?) 4. From the side, my cheekbones look sunken. Maybe because my eyes don't protrude, my cheekbones look flat. The shape of the nose is.. it feels like my old nose shape was left as it was, and only the height was increased. It looks like a straight nose, but also a little curved.. 5. About the swelling.. the area around the glabella is definitely swollen. If you press on it, it dents in bumpy little spots. And it swelled like I had gained weight. In photos it looks puffy..ㅡㅡ;; 6. The nose is a bit crooked. I already knew it was crooked before surgery, but now that it's higher, it seems more noticeable. It's only something you can tell if you look closely though.. 7. The bridge is definitely thick. I heard female-type silicone and male-type silicone are different, and that really seems true. Because of that, the bridge looks more prominent from the front. 8. When I tilt my head, I still feel blood rushing there. But there is no foreign-body sensation inside the nose.. Until a few days ago, when I said "o" my nose felt pulled, but that has gotten much weaker. These days I laugh and sneeze however I want. (Actually.. I've been able to sneeze freely since the day of surgery..ㅡㅡ;;) If you have questions, ask.

Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-reviewApr 30 Is rhinoplasty difficult if I want to keep my dorsal hump?
I want to correct my bulbous nose, so I went to consultations at a few places. They all said that if they put cartilage in the nasal tip and raise the tip, they would have to shave down the dorsal hump on the nasal bridge and place silicone

I’m a man, and my nose used to have a slight hump, but it wasn’t high and was small, so it didn’t have a masculine feel, and it didn’t really look handsome either. This time, I had surgery with Director Kim Ji-hoon at Ppeulli Plastic Surger
