Nose surgery review.. (2 days after surgery)

It has been 2 days since my surgery. Surgery method: To describe my old nose.. The nostrils were narrow, and the tip was high and slim. But the bridge was too flat. The glabella was low, and the nasal dorsum was low too.. a saddle-nose style.. So I decided to leave the tip as it was and raise only the bridge with silicone. Surgery process: 1) Disinfection The nurse sisters came and disinfected my nose and face. It just felt like washing my face..^_^ 2) Silicone trimming They held a pointed silicone piece up to my nose and trimmed it to fit my nose. At first it was a long piece of silicone, but after trimming it to fit my nose, it got smaller. 3) Anesthesia There were three anesthesia methods.. the popular painless anesthesia these days, the method of directly numbing the nose, and lastly the nerve block anesthesia followed by anesthesia in the nose that I had.. The nerve block anesthesia I received was done by first injecting nerve-blocking shots around the nose to numb it, and then doing the actual anesthesia in the nose. The reason for doing it this way is that direct anesthesia of the nose is very painful, they said. The choice is basically between hurting mildly many times (about 5 injections) or hurting strongly once and being done with it. I think you can choose the method depending on the person. In my case, the anesthesia didn't work well, so I got injected several times.. sob.. 4) Surgery They cut out tissue inside my nose with scissors and inserted something like a chisel inside to poke around.. There was no pain at all, and I could hear a sound like bone being ground. Some people say that sound is horrifying.. but it didn't bother me at all. And then something something happened.. the doctor grabbed my nose and shook it. Then he showed me a mirror and asked if this height would be enough. When I looked in the mirror.. I liked everything, but my eyes had moved toward the center. According to the doctor, that was because of swelling, and everything would go back to normal later. So they just stitched it up and finished. They put in about 4 stitches. 5) Pain Honestly, it only hurt during the anesthesia, and after that it didn't hurt at all. Even when the anesthesia wore off, it still didn't hurt at all. I'm not exaggerating even a little when I say it didn't hurt at all. And I was worried I might feel some foreign-body sensation in my nose, but there isn't any of that either. Very occasionally my nose feels a bit pulled, but that goes away in about 10 seconds. I also raised the glabella quite a lot, but I hardly feel anything. On the day of surgery: Aside from my eyes moving toward the center, there was almost no swelling. There was no pain either.. (maybe because of the painkillers?) Other than having my face wrapped tightly in bandages so it was hard to make facial expressions, there was no discomfort. 1 day after surgery: I worried I'd be very swollen when I woke up in the morning. So as soon as I got up, I looked in the mirror.. and I wasn't swollen at all!! I was so happy that I didn't even do cold compresses and just lounged around.. But what was this? By evening I had suddenly turned into a beast..ㅡㅡ;; The glabella was swollen too.. and my eyes were puffed up.. I was startled and diligently did ice compresses. There was still absolutely no pain. 2 days after surgery (now): There is a little bruising around my eyes and the tip of my nose. The bruised area feels a bit sore.. you know that sore feeling you get when you get hit and bruised? It's about that level. And it hasn't swollen any more. Maybe because I kept doing cold compresses.. (sigh.. I should have been diligent with the compresses instead of acting so carefree.. then this wouldn't have swollen either..ㅡㅡ;;) I just went to the hospital and had disinfection done. They put some kind of ointment on my nose.. According to the doctor, as long as no water gets inside my nostrils, I can wash my face.. I should take a shower in a bit~ In closing: Above all, my nose turned out very natural and well. The doctor just said to make it natural.. but even that seems to have had a big effect. Looking at it now, if it had been raised any more, it would have looked awkward.. My nose is the straight kind that most men want, the kind that runs in a straight line from under the eyebrows to the tip.. hahaha The bridge is thick too, so even from the front it looks straight and extended~ The nostrils are narrow, and although the tip isn't a pointy nose, it's narrow enough.. and it stretches straight all the way to the glabella.. keke Ah.. one more thing.. something I never even dreamed of before.. the upper part of my eyes has become shaded..ㅎㅎ Since the glabella was raised, the eyes next to it are shaded too. I'm just waiting for the swelling to go down now~ I'll post another review later.. If you have any questions, ask~
