<After splint removal following surgery><One month after surgery>I had a complex about my upturned nose and low nasal bridge, so I decided to get nose surgery. On the day I went for a consultation, the doctor said that because my nose was very short and small, they would need to build up the nasal bridge with silicone, lengthen the overall nose with ear cartilage, and also raise the nasal tip. But as mentioned, my nose was very small and short, and my skin was thin as well (the skin does not stretch), so there would be limits to how much the nasal bridge and nasal tip could be raised. Still, they said they would raise it as much as possible, so I decided to proceed that way. I had the surgery on September 18, and right after the surgery, when the doctor showed me the mirror and asked whether I thought the surgery seemed to have gone well, I was definitely satisfied with how much higher my nose looked. But after the splint was removed and the swelling started to go down a bit, I felt disappointed because it did not seem that different from my pre-surgery nose. However, everyone around me said the nasal bridge had definitely become higher, that it had been raised naturally as if I had been born that way, and that if I had not told them I had plastic surgery, they probably would never have known. Before the surgery, I had already heard that it would be a difficult case and had listened to all the explanations above before deciding, so although I personally feel a bit disappointed, I had been living with it fairly satisfied. But today, when I woke up and looked in the mirror, my nasal bridge suddenly seemed slightly bent to the right. So I asked my boyfriend, and he said he could not tell, but to me it looks bent to the right. How does it look to everyone?
