I’m now entering my 7th month after rhinoplasty..! Until now, people around me have given me lots of compliments, saying it turned out really, really well, and it turned out more natural than I expected. I’m so satisfied that I even think I did the right thing by listening to my doctor! But now that everything seems to have more or less settled into place, I’ve noticed some minor(?) aftereffects.. 1. A fairly large amount of scar tissue formed at the incision site 2. I still have some dryness inside my nose 3. At the area where the side of my nose connects to my cheek (where I had osteotomy), when I’m tired, there’s a twitching similar to the fluttering/twitching you can get around the eye They’re not serious side effects, but they’re making daily life a bit uncomfortable, so I want to get examined... In this kind of situation, would it be better to go to a hospital that specializes in functional rhinoplasty? I thought about going back to the hospital where I had my surgery, but the doctor is so busy and hectic, and I don’t really have much trust in them for functional issues. The consultants also feel kind of high-handed, so my first thought is that I don’t want to go... And most decisively, since it’s the hospital that operated on me, I feel like I might only hear a defensive consultation and leave... What should I do?
