Everyone who has had multiple nose surgeries, did you quit smoking..? I’ve had nose surgery 4 times, but I can’t quit alcohol or cigarettes even if it kills me My 4th surgery was a total disaster, so I’m thinking of getting my 5th revision surgery as soon as it’s been 6 months (7-8 months if delayed). If I’ve had my nose done 5 times and smoke like usual, will I really get contracture.. I smoke a lot too, and I smoke strong cigarettes Is there anyone among those who have had multiple surgeries who is a heavy smoker but is doing fine without inflammation or contracture? Honestly, up to the 3rd surgery I just smoked recklessly, but if I get a 5th surgery, the number of times is what it is, so I feel like something really could go wrong.. Ugh, this damned nose
shinshin02 You’ve already opened your nose 4 times? If you keep opening the columella and using new nasal materials, it’ll be difficult even if you later want to remove them.... How is your nose now?? Is the shape not good?
zaqwsx Quitting smoking and alcohol in the early postoperative period is a given, and even if it’s been a long time since surgery, people who continuously drink and smoke a lot have a higher chance of developing inflammation than people who don’t.. If you’ve already had multiple surgeries, the tissue is damaged, recovery is slower, and the chance of scar tissue forming is higher, and if something goes wrong, you can’t undo it. For your health and your life, even if quitting is hard, I recommend cutting down as much as possible. Get it together!!!!!
미숫가루쉐이크 Quitting smoking is essential... Try to hold out just a little
Reader 4 [@shinshin02] Yeah.. It was originally a short nose, but it turned into a proboscis monkey nose
Reader 5 [@zaqwsx] I should..
