Hi Because of an inflammation issue, I'm in a situation where I have to remove the silicone. I don't have the confidence to live with my natural nose, so after searching for days and days, it seems the options for the nasal bridge are Megaderm, autologous costal cartilage, and autologous dermis. Rib cartilage... sigh. Since it's a major surgery, I'll pass. I've experienced the absorption rate with autologous dermis before (nasal tip), and because of the buttock scar, I'll pass. So I think I need to do Megaderm, but I see quite a lot of negative posts about Megaderm, so I'm really torn My nose feels tight and is so uncomfortable I could die, but I can't readily choose a surgery If anyone has had surgery with Megaderm, even if it wasn't at ㅈㅅ, please give me some information. Please, please~~
하이호오 Megaderm has the same absorption rate too Totally bumpy and uneven
빠앙빠래 [@하이호오] Did you try it yourself?? So did you have revision surgery again??
제니78 Megaderm has an even higher absorption rate, so I don't recommend it...
빠앙빠래 [@제니78] Did you have it done with Megaderm?? About what percentage would get absorbed??
제니78 [@빠앙빠래] I don't know the percentage, but it absorbed much faster than autologous tissue, and it became bumpy and uneven, so it looked bad. There seem to be many places that don't recommend it because the absorption rate is extremely high, so think it over more carefully.. And if you knew where donated dermis is taken from, you probably wouldn't be able to use it.. I wonder if it's really necessary to use something that's not good for the body either.. I may be meddling too much, but I'm worried

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoOct 20 Recently, the tightness inside my nose has gotten worse.
It feels as if my nose is being pinched with a clothespin. It starts from the 3/2 point going down from the glabella to the nasal tip, and it feels like the nasal dorsum area and the inside of my nose are being suctioned by a vacuum…
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoOct 20 It’s been almost 2 years since my nose implant removal
For those considering nose implant removal! Do your research well, and when you’ve made up your mind, go for it! It’s been almost 2 years for me, and I feel so relieved. I had silicone that was over 10 years old removed, and it didn’t…
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoOct 20 Do people not use ear cartilage much these days..?
All the reviews I see only say they used autologous costal cartilage. I’m planning to get my first nose surgery, and I was only thinking silicone + ear cartilage, not even considering rib cartilage at all, but all the reviews are rib…
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoOct 20 I'm 3 days post-op from revision rhinoplasty. Please look at how lifted my nasal tip is..
First, I didn't retouch my skin, so please excuse that it looks messy.. I'm on day 3 after revision rhinoplasty, and I got the cotton packing removed today. When I look at my nose from the side, it looks lifted like that, so I'm really…
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoOct 20 Has anyone had nostril/alar base reduction done along with revision rhinoplasty?
As I keep looking, I think I’d like it to look natural but just slightly sharper The drooping bothers me too, so if possible, I kind of want to just do it together. Would it be possible to do it like this? I’m looking into my third surgery
