I'm stressed because my nasal tip is drooping, so I'm looking into hospitals for revision surgery When I look for places with lots of revision reviews, like ㅍㅌ, ㅁㅇㄷㅇ, ㅇㅇㅂ, almost all of them use autologous costal cartilage. I wonder if that's the best option? Are there no cases where people have surgery with autologous costal cartilage and then need another revision? Since they even take cartilage from the ribs to use, I feel like it would be really unfair if another problem came up Or how about donated costal cartilage?

꿀잼 Having cartilage harvested does feel burdensome But since donated costal cartilage is said to have a high absorption rate, I think autologous costal cartilage might be better. If the director's surgical experience is solid, it's the safest material I'm also considering the nose-specialist director at ㅁㅇㄷㅇ

찌릿찌릿 I also used autologous costal cartilage for my revision at ㅍㄴㅅ, but because of things like that, I purposely went to a place that takes a CT and checks X-rays too.. If it's calcified, it can't be used, so you should check things like this before going too
아이스티 I didn't want to think about revision surgery, so I finished my primary surgery with autologous costal cartilage at ㄹㅂㄹ, but if you're worried about scarring, you should consider donated costal cartilage Each material has clear pros and cons, so if you ignore that and just do exactly what they recommend, you might actually regret it....
